Absolutely true and dress the wheels of your grinder easily with Geiger's Wheel Truing & Dressing Solution. Many wheel dressers on the market do a reasonably good job of removing metal particles that get imbedded in the aggregate of grinding wheels, but do a poor job of actually truing the wheels. What we mean when we say "truing" is actually making the circumference of the wheel round and the face of the wheel flat. Geiger's Wheel Truing & Dressing Solution does a superb job of this.

Why does it do so well at truing and dressing the wheel?   •  The depth of cut is controlled by utilizing the edge of your tool rest as a guide.   •  You can make very controlled traverses across the face of the wheel repeatedly at precisely the same depth of cut.   •  The stud that supports the ½ ct. hard industrial diamond tip is threaded so it can be advanced toward the wheel in micro-miniature amounts. A locking ring maintains the position.   •  The substantial mass of the tool (a hefty 1.75 lbs.) contributes to reducing vibration.   •  The fulcrum point is very close to the wheel to increase control and reduce vibration.

What are the benefits of using Geiger's Wheel Truing & Dressing Solution?   •  The vibration in your grinder will be significantly reduced.   •  Your tools will no longer bounce on the surface of the wheels when sharpening them.   •  The diamond will last a very long time. Because the diamond is presented to the face of the wheel at a slight angle, only the left side of the diamond is in contact with the wheel. The position of the diamond is advanced by rotating it slightly which then presents a new portion to the wheel. This produces a cone shape on the diamond which cuts more efficiently and adds to the longevity of the diamond.   •  Your wheels will last longer. The depth of cut is micro-adjustable. Only very minute amounts of aggregate are removed with each pass.   •  It works directly on a 3" X 5" platform tool rest (as supplied with a Wolverine® system).
